While in school she worked at a law firm where she became a notary public. She familiarized herself with serval legal documents such as, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and deeds. In May 2015, Angelica Cortez received her Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice and Bachelor's of Art in Philosophy from California State University, Long Beach. She is currently preparing for the LSAT and plans on attending law school in the near future.
Angelica has volunteered with several organizations such as, The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), The Aquarium of the Pacific, and Habitat for Humanity.
